Plagiarism

To those who don’t know what is Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work. The idea remains problematic with unclear definitions and unclear rules. I choose to plagiarize this blog because the topic makes me realize allot.

The Art of Moving On february 21, 2015 by Dawnavie Dawis

[Entry 71, The SubSelfie Blog]
Do you remember your first heartbreak? A puppy love perhaps. The time when your darling with those big brown eyes ignored your glances? Or when your mutual affection became muted?
It was just a crush then but it already broke your young heart. Just imagine the pain of losing someone you really loved. After all the years, time, affection, kisses and commitment, how will you move on?

The Aftermath of a Farewell
When it’s all over, there is a numbing sensation at first. You feel every part of you ache even though your body is perfectly fine. Much like son goku‘s quest for the Dragon Balls, you gather the pieces together, and then summon whoever you believe can grant you a wish.

A wish that the breakup is just a dream. A wish that everything will go back to the way things were.
You wish.

But don’t worry too much. You may think you’re broken. But your heart is a strong muscle; it keeps on pumping blood. So should you.
Just so you know, while you’re wallowing in misery and self-pity, another self-help book sells, another heartbreak song tops the chart and another tearjerker movie breaks box office records. While they seem to benefit, people like you remain standing on the same ground. (Cue Kitchie Nadal) But you can help yourself. This Blog really give me more attention than there different topics in there blogs post. Source: SubSelfie.com

Media Literacy

This seminar is very important to me especially to those new generations. It helps people realize how media affects in our life and popularity for those social media users like twitter, facebook, Instagram etc. it’s helps me because I’m social media user too I notice something because of social media news. Seminar starts with a video film about our very own RAM Page, next with a prayer song “Scandal of Grace”, Philippine Anthym, and introducing the speakers. The 3 speakers are from GMA 7 named Ms. Edmallyne Remillano Head Writer, State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Secretary, Talents Association of GMA Network, Ms. Jan Meynard Nualla Program Producer, Global Conversations on CNN Philippines, Talents Association of GMA Network (TAG), Society of Asian Journalists (SAJ), And Ms. Lian Nami Buan Association Producer for Segments, State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Associate Editor, SubSelfie.com, and Talents Association of GMA.

First speaker was Ms. Lyne the topic is How to write a story (affectively) her teacher say “there are no bad stories only bad story tellers.” Journalism is about making the important interesting and the interesting relevant because if your journal is not relevant to your topic then what? Your work is not accepted to your boss. Story telling with a purpose, there should be 5 w’s and 1 H. where what when was who and how but there’s one so what? The most important questions are the content, new, so what, and then. The art of interview embrace the silence, do not be afraid to play dumb, take notes for more questions and angles, research is a process of gathering data, not to result, and start strong, end stronger. In writing a story first thing first. List main finding of your fieldworks, decide which facts and details go together, and write not graph, what the part? Context first! And put the human face. And last these are the tips be critical when asking questions, red tape blues: be persistent and patient, make sure grammar and composition is correct, take time to distress, and you will be busy as hell. Brace yourself.

Then report the unreported like indigenous people, environment, climate change, women, PDWs, and Local issues. And last week we do have a 1 week holiday because of APEC this because our president want as to have what other country don’t have this are the 3 to educate, to inform, and to entertain. Some of this helps us how we report, how we write the stories and choose of what to report. Its helps me allot to know more about writing or know more about media literacy. I hope you understand and touch for this page.

OPM Music

OPM is one of my favorite Music all over the world. It's our own music that we will share to other country to express our feelings. It’s my favorite because we filipino recognize to other country from our songs or singers.

Original Pilipino music, now more commonly termed original Pinoy music, original Philippine music or OPM for short, originally referred only to Philippine pop songs, particularly ballads, such as those popular after the collapse of its predecessor, the Manila Sound of the late 1970s.From its origin, OPM has been centered in Manila, where Tagalog and English are the dominant languages. Other ethnolinguistic groups such as Visayan, Bikol and Kapampangan, despite making music in their native languages, have not been recognized as OPM, except in unusual cases like the Bisrock (Visayan rock music). Having successfully created a subgenre of Philippine rock they called Bisrock, the Visayans by far have the biggest collection of modern music in their native language, with great contributions from Visayan bands Phylum and Missing Filemon. Tacloban, a Winaray-speaking city, tagalog songs and only one very short song in the Cebuano language.

Following suit are the Kapampangans. Tarlac City-based Kapampangan band Mernuts has penetrated MTV Pilipinas, making it the first ever Kapampangan music video to join the ranks of other mainstream Filipino music videos. RocKapampangan .Despite the growing clamor for non-Tagalog and non-English music and greater representation of other Philippine languages, the local Philippine music industry, which is centered in Manila, is unforthcoming in venturing investments to other locations. Some of their major reasons include the language barrier, small market size, and socio-cultural emphasis away from regionalism in the Philippines.

The country's first song writing competition, Metro Manila Popular Music Festival, was first established in 1977 and launched by the Popular Music Foundation of the Philippines. It was held annually for seven years until its discontinuation on 1985. It was later revived in 1996 as the "Metropop Song Festival", running for another seven years before being discontinued in 2003 due to the decline of its popularity .Another variation of the festival had been established called the Himig Handog contest which began in 2000, operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and its subsidiary music label Star Records. Unlike its predecessors, the contest has different themes which reflect the type of song entries chosen as finalists each year. In 2012, the Philippine Popular Music Festival was launched and is said to be inspired by the first songwriting competition. As new generation came and new singer came in every station is more shine as they reprecent for our country.

Break Up

It’s been a one month since he broke up with me. I actually don’t know what to do now. He ruin my life in one snap I really love him so much but he left me. Being with him in one year is so unforgettable it’s hard to forget everything. But in his side in one snap he forget everything, forget all of our happy memories, adventures, relationship goals, and specially all of his promises.

Promises that last long in life time relationship, promises that he never leave me, promises that he never let anyone get me in his life, promises that he love me unconditionally, promises that we have a church big wedding, promises that we have our own family, promises that we achieve our own dreams and become a nurse and airline manager someday, promises our own house and cars, and promises that our relationship last long forever until we died.

This should be thirteen months for us, our relationship start at September twenty-four two thousand fourteen. We broke up last October seven two thousand fifteen officially he end our relationship just in a text message. I really want to talk to him personally but he doesn’t want to see me again. He said his afraid of me because of what he have done to me. I want to talk to him because my feelings are still there, But he said he loves someone else it’s hurt me so much. I just want to cry loud as in I want to shout and keep my feelings release.

What makes him happy is what’s make me happy too. Now I actually accept what he wants only acceptance for me to move on. Now he is happy without me but someday or sooner I will become a strong and happy more as happy without me to him now.
